Silent Alarm

The silent helper in times of need at your workplace

Silent Alarm

A silent alarm allows you to discreetly raise the alarm in dangerous situations at the touch of a button without loud sirens or causing a commotion so that those affected can call for help without further escalating the situation.

Safety and prevention are the focus in order to protect employees and lone workers and to request help quickly and discreetly. To do this, place the emergency call button in a location that is not visible to other people.

Where is a silent alarm used?

A silent alarm is used where people work alone or find themselves in situations where it is not possible or advisable to raise an audible alarm. In Austria, lone working locations (§ 61 of the Employee Protection Act) are a particularly relevant area: employers are obliged to ensure effective monitoring in cases of lone working with increased safety requirements or in remote areas.

Examples of locations where they are used:
Service personnel in outdoor areas or night work, customer service centers, counseling centers, government offices, registration offices, retail stores (branches, gas stations, tobacco shops, etc.)

An inconspicuous helper for your safety at work

The emergency call button of the silent alarm system can be discreetly integrated into almost any business or office environment.

It blends in discreetly with the existing furnishings and is therefore not perceived as disruptive by customers or employees—an aspect that is particularly appreciated in retail stores or in representative areas with doormen/doorwomen.

Thanks to its compact design, it takes up very little space and can be flexibly mounted or placed without interfering with day-to-day business.

Did you know?

According to the Austrian Employee Protection Act (ASchG) § 61 (6), employees may only work alone in workplaces with an increased risk of accidents if effective monitoring is guaranteed. A silent alarm can be part of this monitoring. A major benefit of silent alarms is that they help reduce psychological stress and anxiety among employees, as simply knowing that an alarm option is available increases their sense of security.
